ARE YOU IN NEED OF FOOD?
If you are finding it difficult to find money for food, you should consider if the Scottish Welfare Fund can help you. Please see here https://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/benefits-and-grants/welfare-reform/scottish-welfare-fund/
If you cannot get money for food, we work on a voucher referral basis so if you need a food parcel from us you will need to be referred from another agency such as a debt advice service (Citizen’s Advice/ Gordon Rural Action),a support charity, housing, social work, health. We are providing a delivery system in Huntly, Inverurie and Peterhead but you will still need a referral.
At the moment Ellon Foodbank is operating as usual.
If you can afford food but are unable to access a shop or delivery, please contact the Grampian Coronavirus Assistance Hub which is a new website and phoneline. It provides people all across Grampian with information on how to access social, practical and emotional support on the Coronavirus.
It is a site for anyone in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray, with information for residents and businesses alike. The website address is www.GCAH.org.uk and the phoneline is 0808 196 3384 which is open 8am-8pm seven days a week

If you are thinking baout donating food, we are not accepting private donations at the moment due to the need to keep our volunteers safe.
