Tesco Summer Pre-Packed Donation Bags Return to Support Local Families

This summer, you can help support local people facing hardship by picking up a pre-packed donation bag at your local Tesco store.

From 6th July to 16th August, participating Tesco stores across Scotland will have pre-packed donation bags available for customers to purchase and donate in store. Each bag contains a selection of essential food items that will be donated directly to local foodbanks, helping ensure emergency food is available for those who need it most.

The summer holidays can be a particularly difficult time for many families. With children at home from school and household budgets already stretched, the cost of providing extra meals can place significant pressure on those experiencing financial hardship.

Every donation helps us continue providing emergency food parcels to individuals and families across Aberdeenshire North. As a foodbank covering a large rural area, support from our local communities is vital in helping us maintain supplies and respond to increasing demand throughout the summer months.

If you’re shopping in Tesco this summer, please keep an eye out for the pre-packed donation bags and, if you’re able, consider adding one to your trolley. It’s a simple way to make a real difference to someone in your community.
