Donate food
Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.
You can purchase food and leave it as a donation at our Permanent Collection Points (PCPs) in the supermarkets listed below:
· Tesco and/or Asda PCPs are intended for food that has been purchased in-store.
· Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into the PCP store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

BanktheFood App
We are also working in partnership with BanktheFood, which is an app that you can download and it will keep you up to date with the ypes of items we need the most at the foodbank.
Using the app is very simple. Please scan the QR code or download the app to your phone or tablet & follow the instructions to get started, this app can be found in the Apple store or Google Play.
Once you’ve followed your closest foodbank (Ellon, Inverurie, Huntly, Fraserburgh, Peterhead) the app will send you a helpful ‘ping’ with a notification of our needs when you are shopping in your local supermarket.
You can then choose exactly what you would like to donate & leave your donation in our Foodbank’s collection box at the end of your shopping trip.
